updated fish list

so i posted a thread a few weeks ago about my fislist, but i wasnt sure about the size of the tank i was getting, but i have it now and its a 55g... so let me know how this list looks...


(1) tiger pistol shrimp
(2) kauderns cardinal
(1) yellow watchman goby
(2) black and white oscellaris
and my brother who was against me getting a tank anyways now wants me to get a flame hawkfish... i doubt i will though

Your fish list sounds very good to me. I have experience with all of these except the cardinals, but I think they would be just fine!

Can't the hawkfish be very aggressive towards smaller fish? If I were going to be concerned about any of these it would be the hawkfish (I do think they are neat though).

yeah that was the main reason i didnt want to get it, because i dont feel like contributing to the death of a fish... that and he was bein a jerk about it lol

Looks a nice list,
The hawk would more than likly eat the pistol shrimp though! Wouldnt bother there.

thanks guys... im actually rethinking the cardinal cus that would make all my fish but the goby black and white and i need some color... any suggestioins?

PJ cardinals look great when they're young, but when they get older.... u-g-l-y. The colors fade and they turn a blackish, grayish yuck color.

Bicolor Blennys are nice. You could do one of those.
