We recently moved and had to take down the tank and it was a horrible experience I dont want to do again lol. Here are some pictures I took tonight, not many but I'll post more when I get them.
This little guy is the hardest fish I've ever tried photographing!
Also yes I seen those flat worms after taking the photos, thats why the wrasse is in there. I've been RO dipping coral about once a week or so and they are thinning out big time, he was just put in there so hopefully they wont last to much longer.
You have done this great man .. It's all pictures looking so great and I am doing hope you will soon share your other pics which you have captured during the tank visit..
Nice shots.
Coral do look like they just out of the move stress.
for the flatworms, would have been best to deal with them during the move.
If you're lucky and they're only on that Euphilia, a simple dip will do. Although they're usually well spread in the tank. I've had good luck with fast freshwater dips on euphilias and shaking the coral to have them detach in 5-10 sec.
Not to change the subject, but my husband and I will be moving in a few months and have a 20 gallon tank with various fish, crabs, snails, and corals. How did you move your stuff? What would you suggest?
Thanks for the comments, my coral has started to decline though, I think it's chloramine maybe?
As for the move I used buckets for the rock and some sand. Then I used bags for coral and made sure no air was in the bags. For the fish I went and bought a oxygen tank, put the fish in bags with enough water so they could move a little and not be out of it same as a fish store does then filled the bags with pure oxygen. I lost one piece of coral this way and that was because it got a little to warm and that birdsnest was always finicky for me anyway.
