Actually its a shame to be back in boring Phuket, will likely head of to Christmas Island shortly, anyway, back, the tank did not flood the home (actually the water loss was not too bad, and the pump failed but the loss was only about 10g and salinity rise 29/30 so brought that back down etc).
Coral survived, and thrived, and bought a couple more Chromis yesterday just to make the current more interesting.
Now - The Upgrade.
Going from 30g + 20g in the wall to a breakfast bar Cube (60g), end tank for Mantis (20g), Frag Tank Centre (30g) and likely a sump in the region of 50-60g for all of them, will be some form of closed/open loop between the lot, and moulding a granite setup around the entire lot
Sent the request of to the LFS for Quote and Time Frame (formalities) for stand (steel in 3 sections) and tanks (drilled etc) - likely have them in 1-2-3 weeks...

My first question is - SPS/Stoney LPS corals, will be Lagoon set up viewable from the sides, would you have a UV System on a system like this - many debates about it killing the corals etc - i was considering having but on a 1 hour daily limit - timer set, just to aid etc - thoughts?
