Ok i have a 29 gallon seahorse tank/hair algea facotry XD I have a 440 gph skilter filter on it now, and i dont like it at all. After doing a 50% water change yesterday, I realized what a bad job it has been doing. So i am going to get rid of it, and get a new one. I would like somthing that would be my main filter eg. Mechanical/biological as well as an EFFECTIVE skimmer. I dont exactly have a big budget on this... I would also like it to be hang on and quiet, because I do not have a sump with the tank and its in my bedroom.
I was looking at the Back pack 2 with dual skimmers. I can get it for 60 bucks at aquatraders, and I have been told that it is a good skimmer and is quiet.
