Okay,
I have a NC DX 12 gallon nano reef. It has mostly softies and a rather large frogspawn and a few acans. I have decided that I would like a little more room for more corals and such and am looking to upgrade my tank.
I have 2 options.
1) A 46 gallon bow front tank that I love the look of. It is 36" long but pretty darn deep (21" I think).
2) A tank that is 36" long, 12" wide and 14" deep, I think it is around 26 gallons or so.
I have a 4X39 watt T5 36" long light with individual reflectors that I would like to use. I really like the look of the 46 gallon best but I'm not sure if the light would be enough. I want to keep mostly softies and LPS corals with maybe a simple SPS in the upper reaches of the tank. No clams.
Any thoughts on which tank would work best? I would rather not buy another light fixture.
Thanks,
Olivia
