Upgrading Tank

Hello reefers,

I am upgrading my 60 gallons mixed reef that has been running since 2017. There are two tank sizes that I have been thinking about and one is glass and the other acrylic. The first is 150 glass 60x24x24 and the other is acrylic 125 72x18x20. I know there is an entire debate about glass vs acrylic but just thinking about the dimensions which would you prefer and why. Also moving two tangs into this tank Yellow and Atlantic Blue. Thanks for your feedback --MJ

Just going by the dimensions, I would do the 5 ft glass tank. My old tank was 18 wide and IME, it just kinda hinders your rock/coral layout options. Hope that helps.

I’d go for the 150 for the extra width

i had the 60x24x24 and loved it just a nice size

Wow--thanks for the replies. The 150 gallon glass is cheaper than the 6 ft acrylic tank. And Black Friday is coming up soon
