upgrading

so tomorrow im upgrading my 75 to a 120. My question is any tips on making my transition easy, im currently making 64 gal of saltwater and ill have 32 gal of ro water i bought two 40 gal totes to put my rock in and fish and ill throw a powerhead in each. im taking my sand from my tank and fuge and washing it in saltwater and putting it in my new fuge and i have six bags of live sand for the tank. any help on easing my upgrade would be helpful

I have planned the whole day today for this. Im still nervous about my corals. is there a time limit they can sit in a tote

They should be able to sit in the tote indefinitely if you have enough flow and the temp is stable. If it gets to be days, you will need to get some lighting, but sounds like thats not an issue. Just remember to acclimate everything for light etc as it will all be getting different light from repositioning.

When I upgraded my tank, I used all the water from my older tank in my new one, and I think this helped a lot with the acclimation.

so the tank is done and it took about 12hrs more than i expected
