Upping the wattage

I am currently running 3X250W SE 10k Reeflux MHs and 320w of actinic VHOs over my mixed reef.

I am considering moving the center light to a 400W 12k Reeflux in the center.

Most of the SPS are in the center, about 4" from the top of the water. The bulbs are another 10" above the water.

I currently run the 250w 10ks about 10 hrs. per day. If I up to a 400W 12k (center only) is there some risk of bleaching (too much light initially) the SPS - or should all be cool?

It is only 150w and the light is going from 10k to 12k.

I would advise on acclimating the corals to a shorter photo period. I would do the same if they were new bulbs.

Going up 150w is still significant.
