Got a great box of Kaelini Tonga LR from a fellow reef central member. On one of the rocks was this...

Looks like some kind of sea urchin... Is it good or bad? Also this is a new tank and this LR is the first thing I have added to it so it is not cycled. Any advice on how to try and keep him alive?

Are there any spines around the sea urchin b/c I think they can lose their spines when stressed. Here's a pic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Zeeegel3.jpg

You know what... in the first pic, of the urchin is in the box still, you can see lots of little "things" around it. Those were probably the spines.
