*URGENT* Bubbles in Silicone

As I mentioned above, bubbled seams are pretty much a guarantee with this tank, unfortunately. (Besides mine, I've seen a few other ML 93 rimless and they all had bubbles in the seams.) That said, even though it looks sketchy, you likely won't have issues with it (Mine was fine for over 2 years until I sold it.)

Gahhh, I know. It seems inevitable, but it just seems so strange that both tanks have such crappy seams. I was expecting some bubbles, but not THIS many.

I just barely pulled on the top of the tank, and looked at the seams, and more bubbles appear with pressure on the inside.

Surely that can't be good.

Alright, my LFS said don't even bother putting water in it.

I'm getting rid of the MarineLand tank all together, and going with an 85g Planet Aquariums rimless.

Good move. I did the same, except I went with SC Aquariums. Dude, when you start researching this stuff after you see these bubble (like I did), you realize how grossly underbuilt these tanks are. I've been in this hobby for 20 years, I'm had several ML (rimmed tanks) that I've been happy with, but these rimless tanks are a mystery to me. Did you measure the bowing on yours? Mine was huge... That and the bubbles in the seams were what made me ditch this tank, eat the cost (drilled it myself etc), and buy a different tank so I didn't have to constantly worry about this tank failing. But then again, you never hear about these ML rimless tanks failing so who knows.
