Has anyone been able to connect from Windows 10 PC/Laptop to their Profilux 3? If so, what drivers are you using?

Windows 10 comes with the correct FTDI driver
or do you have a Prolific-Chip? I don't know if this one is included in Win10 also, if not you can use the Win7 Prolific driver

doesn't show the Windows device manager anything?

So I guess I have the Profilic chip set. Here're some screen captures of how it looks in device manager.

Can you please help see what I need to do to have my USB working again?

Thanks

You can manually install the correct driver by going into the GHL Control Center folder. It will be in the driver folder.

I believe I need to update my firmware from 5.x to 6.x in order to have GHL Control Center? That's why I have trying to figure out how to get the USB connection to work. Any other way to find out what's the right driver version to install?

Thank you

You can download the Profilic driver from our website. It is labeled as "PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1_8_0.zip"

Once you get connected, you can update from 5.x to 6.x by doing an update with the first version of GHL control center. Make sure to save your settings before doing an update.
