USHIO 400watt 14k bulb problem

I purchased a Ushio 400 watt 14k bulb from you this week and received it on Friday. I went to install today and for the life of me cant get this bulb to thread. It's replacing my Reeflux 12k and which threads with no problems at all.

I have been going at it for 45 minutes and I'm giving up.

On Ushio website, they have two different types of 400watt bulbs. Could I not have the right one?

ONe requires a M59 ballast to fire the bulb
Second requeses a M135/M155 which is a pulse start. Not sure if the socket size is different

The one I have would require the M135 ballast according to the model number on the Ushio Box and matching with the website.

Please advise on what to do

UPDATE:

Aquacave responded by sending me PMs and emails yesterday and they are looking into why my bulb is giving me problems.

Well, we figured out that the type fixture that I have doesnt support the type of socket that Ushio uses on their bulbs and explains why I couldnt get the bulb to thread all the way in.
