Using Bulbs with two different color temperatures

For those of you who are using bulbs with two different color temperatures e.g. 14K and 20K: do you have both on together or do you stagger the on off so there is time at the beginning and end where only one color is operational? I am using Sfilgoi twins which have positioning for two bulbs in each fixture and they are separately controllable. Thanks for any insight about this.

I would probably run just the 20K in the AM and PM like I do with my actinic T5s now. Unless...do you have the dimmable ballasts (ACLS, or something like that)? If so, maybe there's no point in doing that, since you can do dusk and dawn properly that way.

Those are seriously the coolest lights ever...

Yes, I have the dimmable ballasts (ACLS). I was considering running blue (20K Helios) by themselves from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM then blue and white (14K BLV) together until 7 PM, then white by themselves until 9 PM. Sunrises would be programmed at 30 minutes for blue, and sunset for 30 minutes with white. I have a couple of wild SPS colonies that seem to like the blue light best.
