Using Melafix in Reef Tanks

So I was reading up on this product called Melafix and it says it is safe to use in reef tanks and won't have any negative effects on inverts. I think my Imperator Angel *may* be showing some signs of Ich....but I would like to treat the entire tank. Is Melafix safe and effective in a reef tank?

Melafix is safe for reef tanks... I have used it several times for bacterial infections in fish. But it is NOT an ich medication. It will have no affect on ich. It is mainly for damaged fins, popeye, skin ulcers, and bacterial infections.

Melafix just dont work. I had few fishes with bacterial infection and it didnt do anything

or help heal their wounds. Now i dip them in proper antibiotic such as furan-2 or

oxytetracycline
