I am sure many of you have heard the on going discussions and theories behind UV and the coloration/growth of stony corals, mainly coming from LED discussions. I am in the planning stage of an LED build and would like some facts (or as close to that exist) on the subject.
I plan to incorporate UV emitters into my build. My main questions would be how many and of what wavelength?
How many ie. in an array of blues and whites, how many "other" per 1 UV?
What wavelength of UV should I be shooting for?
I have found some at www.superbrightleds.com that hit the 400nm range, but I thought I read somewhere to be looking in the 360-ish range?
Thanks!
