UV sterilizer in a QT tank?

If you had a UV sterilizer treating the effluent from your quarentine tank, could you plumb the QT in with the main display/sump?

This assumes that the sterilizer is working to full potential and efficiency. Are there concerns over some things a sterilizer won't kill? Risk too great?

i would not .... QT tanks shuld be totally seperate...
