how often should you vacume your sand ?are there any recomended inverts that eat the corals ****? or that eat green algae?

If you have a good enough CUC you dont need to vacuum the sand bed. Sometimes doing this can stir up bad bacteria and cause issues with your tank. IMO i would just let it be left alone

I have in my 45 10 hermits (red and blue -black and yellow)and 4 types of snails (10) and all are reef safe. they all help in the cleaning sand and the algae department. also 2 sand sifting star fish, again reef safe. The best way to keep your sand clean is not alot of food and a good clean up crew on stand by. good luck

Be carefull diamond sifting gobies will jump out the smallest hole I lost 2 $50 bucks . Cover all openings or you will find him on floor.
