Valonia is becoming a problem in my tank. I have read about it and my plan is to strip the rock down remove the algae rinse and replace. I assume some will return. My question is that if the large bubbles contain spores and the small ones don't. Does anyone know at what size approximately the spores are present. I intend to pierce any tiny new growth, but at what size is this a safe practice?
