Vectra L1 and beananimal overflow

Apologize if this has been asked before, but either threads go in 100 different directions, or I cant find anything at all.

Looking at getting a Vectra L1 to replace my Panworld 250PS. Dont need the head height and the PW is eating up the wattage. Also like the ability to adjust the flow rate with the L1 at feeding times. Other times I will just keep it constant.

Anyways, I am wondering a few things. 1, to those who currently run a L1 on their Beananimal overflows, is it similar to when you turn your old return on and off? When you dial back the flow at feeding, then turn it back up, do you then have to readjust your main siphon, or does the water flow remain pretty close? And 2, where can I find a head height chart? I am only going up about 5', but feeding 2 125g tanks.

I'm using a Vextra M1 with a BeanAnimal overflow. Using an Apex controller I turn it completely off 3 times a day for about 5 minutes for feeding then turn in on again. Takes about 20 seconds for the air to purge out of the BeanAnimal plumbing and then everything returns to normal. Haven't had to readjust anything.

And when it turns on, there isnt a fluctuation with the flow rate? Its pretty consistent?

I don't have a flow meter but as far as I can tell it seems to be exactly the same every time.
