Vectra M1 minimal water level

Hi all,

I would like to know what is the minimal water level in the chamber for the vectra M1 ?

In my sump the water level is 20cm , is this level high enough for the pump that it will not suck any air (create a venturi from surface)

My M1 is plumbed externally, but I have 8" or about 21cm of water above the inlet in the sump. It's running at about 65%-70% right now and it doesn't suck air.

I guess this is something that has to be experimented with.

If you have room, use an elbow in the bulkhead and point it down so it sucks from the bottom
