Vega flashing rapidly red/green

I have 3 Vegas - for several months. One Vega was acting strange and when requesting help from AI they believed it was a fan problem and sent a new fan. I have installed the new fan. The problem was that after being on for awhile one or two pucks would shut off. Not any specific pucks but random.

When I now plug the Vega in, it flashes red/green rapidly and does not stop. One puck fully lights and the some of the leds in the other pucks light but so dim as to not even be discernible without looking very very closely.

I use the Apex AWM module and it shows all three lights connected. I cannot turn off the Vega that is red/green flashing with either fusion or the web interface.

Any ideas what is going on?

Not sure, but the first thing to try is to totally reset the light to factory defaults. You'll have to check AI's site, but I remember doing this with mine by holding the red power button on the side of the light down for 4 or 5 seconds.

I said "holding the light down", I meant holding the red button down. Any where from 1 to 20 seconds and it just keeps blinking. So, no, it does not go into demo mode. Nothing happens.

Tried the factory reset and no change.

I do appreciate everyone's ideas.

I'm thinking your control board on this one Vega could be bad.

I would call AI tech support tomorrow morning and let them know what's going on.

Thanks,
Randy

I have been comunicating with AI through email and an open service request, that started with the bad fan possibility and have sent them this problem.

I can never find their support phone number. When I click on "contact us" it flips to the generic home page.

Kudos to AI for their help with this problem. They have sent me a replacement mother board at no charge, even though the Vega is out of warranty, I believe. Great customer support!

The new board took care of the problem.

I have 2 vegas and 1 has gone into flashing green/red. I can't get it to reset no matter what I do.

I have powered it off, held it to get it back to factory reset, held it to get it do discovery mode and nothing works?

I have 3 vegas and 2 have gone into flashing green/red. did anyone get an answer to if its a fan problem or a main board problem. the fans on mine are spinning continuously.
