Verizon email problem help

I setup the email settings like this:

smtp.verizon.net
smtp port 587
from address : myemail@verizon.net
to address: myaddress@aol.com

Email Authentication enabled

user name myemail@verizon.net
user password: mypassword

Not receiving any email.

I don't think it supports SSL encryption.

My Profilux is the same. Why not use AOL if that's where you want it to go; it works with my Profilux.

Server: smtp.aol.com
Port: 587

Then use your AOL credentials for the authentication; from and to use the same address.
