Vertex Omega 150 who?

I have decided that the Vertex Omega 150 will be my new skimmer. Given the fact that they are price controlled who/where would you buy from based on service. I am buying new because used prices are not much less and generally there is no warranty. Thanks.

I would recommend Marine Depot or BRS they both have great customer service. Check to see if they are allowed to handle customer service on the product as sometimes the manufacturer on many occasions is the one you will deal with in case of any issues.

I bought my 180i from Marine Depot. Chances are, any online dealer will turn you to the manufacture for warranty issues. The only way Marine Depot or BRS to honor warranty is if......

A) The item is unopened and you changed your mind. (Restock Fee)
B) The item arrives broken, but has not been used.

When I bought my Ecotech Vortech MP40, I opened it up and the white ceramic shaft was broken, never touched a drop of water. I was told to contact Ecotech......... which Ecotech took care of me to my satisfaction.


The Vortex skimmers are very tuff and high quality, I'm sure you will be happy with your purchase.

Brs might have a black Friday sale on them. They had them on sale in the past. That is how I bought mine.

I have found with recent past sales that Vertex, as well as others, are not included. I have used all the above in the past so I guess I will just pick one at random.
