Yes, they love to hide under frag plugs. They will usually come out when you feed the fish and at night.

my first frag or two I didn't dip, but doing revive now. I think this was just dumb luck.

Like all other populations, they will expand to fill the available food resources. I have literally hundreds in the nooks and crannies in my reef. When I clean my filters, I move them to one of the other tanks. In the same way, my 125 of swarming with pods, but the reef has too many pod eaters, so I will move over some from the 125 to improve the genetic diversity in the reef.
