Very loud SCWD

Earlier this month I got an SCWD from an eBay Buy it Now Auction from Premium Aquatics (item # 4339211509). I just moved my tank into the new tank that has the SCWD on it, and fired it up. This thing is loud! It makes a loud rattling noise when it switches, and virbrates also when it switches. I can literally see the plumbing it's connected to shake pretty badly as the unit switches. It's driving me up the wall, and is pretty much unusable.

If this is normal, I guess I'll have to learn to live with it, or sell it, but if this isn't normal, is it possible to send it back for a new one? Thanks for any help.

Sorry to hear the unit is not working correctly. They do make some noise, but not like what you are describing. Sounds like the gear is either broken or offset somehow inside. So i would recommend returning that one. They do have a manufacture warranty that you deal direct with them. They have all the instructions in the box on how to return and get it replaced. They are usually pretty fast on replacement.
