Tonight as the lights were starting to cycle off, I was taking pictures of my bubble coral. The sweepers were out because I'd just fed the tank, and it was interesting.
Then I realized that the only flow in my tank was coming from three VorTech pumps - I turn off the return pump every night when I feed the reef. This coral is dead center in the tank on the substrate, and the VorTechs are on the ends of the 6' tank.
My camera doesn't shoot very good video, so this is a tad grainy but I thought it was interesting how the sweepers were moving.
Two pumps (one at each end) are in Reefcrest mode (Master, Master), and one pump is in Lagoon Mode (Master). I've not set any of my pumps to Slave mode. All are set to roughly 2/3 with the control knob.
The anemones are moving normally, and the Toadstool has some pretty ripples to it.
The video is 9 megs, so as usual I request you Right Click and Save As to your harddrive.
