I know these aren't good for skimming, but I am trying to find a very cheap skimmer for my 10gal QT tank. I dont need it for skimming, but more for oxygen exchange. Does anyone know if the Aquarium Systems Visi-Jet Protein Skimmer is a in tank, or a HOB skimmer?
in tank, you would be better getting a powerhead and putting it near the surface, its worthless as a skimmer, it was the 1st skimmer I ever owned, never did a thing, its pretty small too
I already have a PH at the surface.. Still having O2 problems.. Well if it is an in-tank it is to tall to go into a 10 gal tank.. So I guess I will have to do this one.
