Visiting for a week

Hey all,

I'm here in Miami for the week. Can you guys recommend some lfs and or aquariums to visit? I'm right by 395 and Dolphin Express Way so the closer the better.

For the most part, I'll be going to the beach... but let me know if there's anything else worth visiting while here.

... and there's always the Miami Seaquarium, on Key Biscayne, near downtown Miami to visit if you want to see some larger tanks, I haven't been in years, I'm not sure what they have anymore.

Last I heard from the Miami Seaquarium was a big dissapointment.

I frequent Aquarium Concepts and Exotic Aquariums most frequently.
Aquarium concepts has excellent service and usually excellent selection, while Exotic is my choice for SPS

I passed by Atlantis and the one next door on my way back to the hotel so I stopped by. Atlantis has a really nice display tank when you walk in. I think the guy told me it was about 1300g!

The store next door seemed to have better quality fish though.

I plan on going to the Seaquarium tomorrow (actually, today). Plz let me know if it's not worth going to.

havent been in a long time so I cant tell u, if u were by the area of atlantis u shouldve gone a little further south and check out coral reef aquariums. Right after the Mcdonalds on your left. In that little shopping center. Also if u have a ton of extra time, on bird road (40th street) and the palmetto theres a couple right next to eachother. Theres exotic aquariums on the east side of the palmetto (72 avenue I think) with some other smaller one right accross the street. There are also 2 on the west side of the palmetto called strictly fish and amazing aquariums and both of those are on 82nd ave.

the seaquarium stinks don't go. i took my family visiting from NJ and i thought it kinda stunk.
