Visiting from West Coast: Best shop to visit while in Miami?

As the title says I am up here from LA and wanted to know if anyone could give me the addresses to some good fish shops round the Miami area. I'm in and around the Hialeah to South Beach area today and tomorrow.

Nothing much to look at in Hialeah or South Beach when it comes to LFS's. But look up in this same forum where you posted and you'll find a link to a list of LFS's. You want to call the ones with a 305 area code as those are in Miami/Dade county.

In miami, the best stores are aquarium concepts (117 ave &Y 72 St), deep reef (Flagler & 57 Ave) and Exotic Aquariums ($0 St & approx. 78Ave), the exact addresses & ph# are listed on aformentioned thread of LFS at the top of this forum.

P.S.- But the best stores in town are all in Broward from what I hear... Maybe some one else can chime in...

If your going to any local fish stores I would recommend going later in the week as I heard the suppliers were closed for New Years. Maybe like around Thursday or Friday.

If you could make it up to 95 and Stirling there is Coral Reef Farm which is a great store.
