Visiting Hayward

Just got back from SoCal about a week ago and you're making the opposite trip. It's gonna be a drop in the bucket compared to what you guys have down there with TGC, RR, Tong's, and the collectors.
LFS wise, check out Aquatic Collection (AC) since they're in Hayward. Decent amount of fish there and there's acros, mostly maricultured stuff (saw 4 koi tangs there on Saturday and picked up a stressed out A. tenuis that had potential). Head south from there and hit up California Reef (CRC) in Newark. This used to be the NorCal location of RR before the ties were broken and the business was sold off. Some of the RR pieces are still there but knowing what's in your collection you'll most likely have them already. Their tanks are still not matured yet after stopping by there this past weekend. From there, head further south into San Jose, if time permits, and hit up Neptune Aquatics. They have the best display tanks out of the three and lots of frags.
All three shops, with some exception from CRC, deal mostly with maricultured and wild imports. The colors and names won't be what you're used to seeing, but since you're up here, I would hit up those three.
