Vortech making loud noises in pulse mode

I just put two vortechs back on my 180 tank with the new drivers and in pulse mode one is extremely loud no matter how I align it. The other one is a little louder but not that bad. Is there something can be wrong with unit? It is fine in constant running mode but in pulse mode it is way to loud.

maybe try swapping wet ends to see if one is bad...otherwise keep adjusting...that is what i did on mine

I tried swapping the wet side and it didn't make a difference it was still
really loud.
