Vortech MP10W ES Question

Is the wet side of the MP10W ES supposed to have a rubber piece that contacts the glass? I just received my unit for my BC 29 today and there is not rubber on the wet side like on my MP40s on my big tank. There is a rubber part to be added for thicker glass but it is to be added on the dry side according to the instructions. It just seems weird that the hard plastic of the wet side would contact the glass.

There should be a rubber spacer that came with the unit. It is meant to be run on THINNER glass. I use it on my 24g JBJ Nano Cube and I would bet you need it on your 29 BC as well.
