Vortech MP40w Gen2 Help

Anyone with any Vortech MP40 experience?

If so, I'm having a serious noise issue with my pump. It's vibrating so loud that it can be heard in the other room. Anyway... let me know if you can think of anything... or even better... stop over and take a look at this for me?

It's too loud to even watch TV in the room, so this is causing some problems with the family.

Anyway, let me know if you think you could help.

from what i have read that they spin at a very high rpm and the impeller could be lose causing it to rub and cause the sound or the strong magnit could be pulling something out of place on the inside causing it

Send it back to Ecotech. They are located in PA so they can check it out and ship it back quick.

i had the same issue sent it back and got a tested "quiet" one. the are awesome but not silent . you will always hear these things. i can here it in the next room myself.
if you want total silence or close to it. get a tunze.

The noise I'm getting isn't the "whirrrrrrrr" from the motor ramping up and down... That part doesn't bother me. I'm getting a clunking noise from the wet side assembly, which leads me to believe the prop is loose or something.

I just took the whole thing apart and put it back together. It's quieter now, but still clunking.

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow... It's clunking away again.
