Can I use my old wet/dry side mp40 on my mp10 ews controller?

The reason I ask is cause my new mp10 wet/dry side keeps separating and it's a pain right now.

You are not able to use any MP10 components on an MP40. With that in mind, I would recommend cleaning your MP10 wetside. if you continue to have issues at that point, calling in today for more advanced troubleshooting would be your best option.
