Hi, I am new to keeping salt water aquarium. I got a couple different kink of corals two weeks ago. One is doing fine. The other one is not looking so good.
28 gallon nano tank. Salinity is about 1.024 now started out at 1.021 when coral was put in. The Nitrite and Ammonia got tested last week at zero. pH is about 8. Temperature is about 78.2-78.4. The room where the tank is gets filtered afternoon sunlight. I noticed that the Wavinghand coral is shrinking. It looks like it goes to "sleep" when the overhead LED light is off, even though there is natural daylight in the room. The overhead light is on for 6 hours from 7pm. The tank is 15 inches tall. 25 1 watt 14k LED. Now the coral is about 1/4 of the size it was 2 weeks ago. Like to learn what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
