Sooooo..I thought I would have the patience to acclimate the coral to the led. Well I don't. It could just be a water thing, I don't know. Either way looking to switch back to t5.
I have a mars aqua 165w full spectrum LED that I purchased Jan 4 2015 from ebay. Light works great. It came with mixture 120/90 degree lens. I replaced them with 120 degree optics as just the bare leds were a bit much for the eyes with no canopy. Below is a link to the description. This covered my 24x24 no problem. ran blues at 75% once for a day but most of the time I have had the light the blue has been going between 25-50%. Whites I only barely click on.

also have an mp10wes I believe. I say I believe because I dont know better. the controller is the white one and says ecosmart on it. when I power it on the W on the pump lights up. I don't know a lot about these pumps but picked this up about a month ago used. the previous owner said it didn't work very well on higher speeds. I gave it a vinegar bath and it has no problem running at full power from what I see. The pump seems a little too high tech for my liking. ill stick to the wp25 I have. I don't know all the names of the modes but I have switched it to all light colors when you press mode and have tested it from low to high on every light color and it seems to work fine and It doesn't sound loud like some other mp pumps I have heard. only thing I see wrong is the cord that goes from the pump to the controller is loosen from the controller end. Does not effect function from what I can see. Pump is running on my tank now and would prefer you come pick it up from the house so you can test it and see it in action. Manuf date I believe is Jul 28 2011. I can check when I get home.
Sorry for the long story but wanted to put it all out their! Looking to trade one or both for a 4x24 or 6x24 t5. Also interested in trade for some ATI bulbs once i get a light. LED cannot go until I get a T5 unit. I can put cash on my end also if need be but prefer straight trade. let me know what you have.
