Want to buy a 1000 gallon glass tank

Was going to order from glass cages, but was wondering if anyone has sugestions for oyher companys? I have a 300 fully stocked. my pink table top is 27in by 24in and my gigas clam is 21in. in hobby for 10 years.

Do you have any idea what sort of dimensions you are considering?

e.g.

Tank height will determine glass thickness required.
How many sides viewable will determine how much Starphire glass you'll want. etc.

Going in my office size 130in by 48 in 42in tall it will be 18in out of wall with mech room behind. wanted starfire glass in front and sides

42" tall?!! That's incredible you'll be able to snorkel in that thing...and by "you'll be able" I really mean "you'll have to".

I bet miracles could help you out in Toronto...shipping would be insane on that thing though.

Have you checked the vendor feedback, or otherwise used the search query to investigate your potential tank builders? I highly recommend it. Hint. Hint.

With that depth it would probably be wise to investigate "build on site" manufacturers.
For peace of mind with glass 42" deep you will be looking at 25mm thick glass with possibly a double floating base. Even with a build on site construction those glass sizes will need a lot of folks to carry in the sheets.

At that size at least for me my peace of mind would require acrylic.

I'd second Miracles in Glass as well. Believe there is another large tank thread here that used them and built on site. That's alot of glass and weight to ship in a box and try to hoist onto a stand. 42"Height is awefully tall. I persoanlly would go much shorter but it's your baby and more power to ya if you go for it!

if you were a little closer but not .DONOT go with any thing less than 1inch alota weight there sir .Not crazy about acrylic but for that size I would think twice,unless weight is not an concern. Good luck in what you do
