Want to buy a clam

Well, I want to get a clam and I figured that this would be the best place to learn about them. I don't know which species I want yet. I have a 75 gallon reef, i have mostly softies but also lps. It has a deltec mce600 and I do use ro/di. I have a 250w mh over half of the tank. As for lighting for the other half I have a 50/50 no and actininc no 48". What else do I need for a clam to thrive.
