Want to frag my RBTA's..need tips

As the title says, I want to try fragging my RBTA's. I can't seem to find much info on it other than a couple quick videos and stuff, but I'm really looking for what to do to make sure they stay healthy afterwards. They have split before and they were fine, but I'm guessing that cutting them is more stressful.
What tips do you guys have for me? Are there any websites that explain more about it?
