i want to get a blue ring octo. think they look the koolest.
but i have a 30g that has only fresh in it now. would that tank be big enough for a blue ring.

love cuttlefish too, but the small Sepia.bandensis that i see people owning are really really small. are there any other species of cuttles that ppl can keep. saw something on tv where they pulsate to catch prey (kool as ****)

but wanting to know what would go good in a 30g tank>
thanx

btw i read that article that u were talkin bout octomonkey, i didnt know all that. i just wantsomething that looks great (bluering) and is active and relativly safe.
i have lionfish now and i know there semi toxic but im not dumb and i dont **** it off!

I have a lionfish that eats from my hands. Most people would think that's probably not too bright. As dumb as I may seem for that, I wouldn't go for a blue ring.

You mentioned yourself that you want something active and relatively safe. I suppose that one day you may realize what a contradiction this statement is: i just wantsomething that looks great (bluering) and is active and relativly safe.

In reality when it comes down to it, the blue ring is not overly active and is one of the most deadly animals out there. So it doesn't really fit what you're looking for.

There's a ton of info on why you shouldn't, but I can find VERY little information on why a hobbiest should keep one.

yea thats true. someone said that they were fairly active in the day compaired to most octos. are they really that agressive as to attack ppl? like if we put our hand in the tank?

is u can get a 50 or 55gal tank get a bimac they are fun i can play with they come out in the day and are no danger to u or any pets cept fish

u cant keep them in a 30g? thought i saw that somewhere. i have seen some pictures of them. (not really good ones though)
what color are they most of the time
and are thier any other octos in the trade besides the bimac or blue ring?
