I have read most of ther articles here in this forum. I have turned the pumps off and used a tripod but I am still not happy with my full tank shots. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Just took this one. I am sampling Photoshop cs3. Didn't see a straighten or sharpen feature as I am still messing around with the program. One things for sure, something isn't level.

Crop.
Select All (Ctrl-A). Edit/Transform/Rotate, then work with the rotation.
Auto Levels (ctrl-shift-L) (or Image/Adjustments/Auto Levels)
Auto Color (ctrl-shift-B) (or Image/Adjustments/Auto Color)
Smart Sharpen (Filter/Sharpen/Smart Sharpen). I chose:
Amount 500%
Radius 0.2 pixels
Remove: Lens Blur
More accurate

Send it!

Wow! What a difference. I wish photoshop elements 5.0 had the remove lens blur and smart sharpen, maybe it does and I don't know it yet lol.

Photoshop Elements does have those features. I've recently got Elements and CS3. I'm finding that they're both more complicated than the camera....in fact, they're more complicated than reef keeping...lol.

For full tank shots, take them at night with all lights in the room off. Use a tripod and make sure your camera is level. Also, if you can custom set your white balance, it'll help a lot.
