Personally I'd like to get the tank off the stand about 9 AM - then we'll have the whole day to do some work.
Adrian is in Lauderdale Lakes a couple of blocks from Commercial and 441. We would just need a few guys for like 15 min and then you'd be free to go if you wish.
The tank is coming off the stand because the sumps can't come out without removing it. I'd rather do most of the work on the sumps with lots of room rather than trying to work under the cabinet.
We are going to see if we can strengthen the stand as well as build a box to lift it up higher as well as cutting out the bottom of the stand. The end result will put the tank at a better viewing height and give us more room within the cabinet.
I've asked Adrian what he wants as an end result from this tank and of course the answer was predominant SPS tank. I "believe" that I have convinced him to make this a softie tank that will be more forgiving for someone with his experience. After a few years under his belt - he'll be ready to tackle some SPS. This will also eliminate the absolute need for MH's, chillers, etc.
What I see that he needs in the near future is a good return pump. Something along the lines of a Reeflo Dart or comparable.
A kick butt skimmer (I've suggested he talk to Manny unless he wants to pay big $$$ for one that would handle his 210) and some lights. Looking for maybe T5 and/or VHO combination.
Order of priority is Pump, Skimmer, Lights.
So if anyone has anything like this laying around collecting dust, Adrian just might be interested.
