Wanting to buy a DIY reactor

Hi. I want to know if anyone here builds or has nitrate reactors for sale? I know this is a reef forum but I have a cichlid tank that I want to control the nitrates in without doing as many (but still regularly) water changes and from what I see, reactors work for both freshwater and saltwater and I was hoping to find something here because I'm close to the Memphis area.

I think Denitrator's can be built pretty easily for FW tank's, might be something that you would want to look into. I dont know much about them though, just thought I would help point you in the right direction. Someone correct me if im wrong.
