Wanting to increase flow

I have a 100gal cube that I with one MP40 on it. I believe I have enough flow but would like to add another powerhead for a little more of a random flow. The tank is viewable from three sides so I do not want a powerhead on the viewable side. I do not believe another MP40 on the same side will help much. I ran across the tunze rocks and thought it would be a good idea to put the powerhead on the bottom opposite of the MP40 pointing toward the front panel. I cant find any information on the dimminsions of the rock for the 6045.

I am looking for a few answers.

Does this sound like a good idea?

What are the dimminsions and look of the rock?

How efficient will a pump on the sand bed pointing up be?

That is why he can't do another MP40...

As for the fake rock, all i have heard is it is much bigger than thought, and its huge. As a result i never looked into it again.

I had these rocks and they are pretty big. I est about 6x6x4 in. tall. Right now it's in my brothers tank so I don't have a pic of it

I talked to the people at tunze about the rock and they said they are about 6x6x4. I wanted to set the rock on the sandbed but they advised not to because the pump will suck up the sand and destroy it. It looks like the only option will to add another mp40 on the same side as the other one or to build a platform for the tunze rock.

I think I have ruled out the tunze with the rock. Now I am looking at adding possibly two tunze or mp10's or 20's on either side of the overflow along with the mp40.

Here is a picture of the tank. It is not in the same location but it you will be able to see what I am talking about

I currently moved the mp40 to the right side of the aquarium and am thinking of adding a tunze or mp10 or 20 on one the left side of the overflow. I am also tossing around the idea of placing one on the right side also. I am just looking for some advice before I drop the money. What would you do?

MP40 on the back wall to the left of the overflow and an MP40 on the right wall just in front of the overflow shooting right to left across the width. This will help randomize it, but will also help you get a pretty strong gyre which will get all the water moving in the tank.

I am a little scared to put a 40 there. It is 30" front to back and water level is 3/4" below the glass. If I am not careful I could creat a surge that will spill over the tank.

Don't put it too close to the surface. I don't think it will create a surge, the water will start to move in a circular flow around the tank. It is a very efficient way at moving large amounts of water.
