war coral care

My LFS gave me a war coral frag that had fallen into another coral and was burned up pretty good. What type of water/flow/lighting conditions are best for war corals?

a pic...everything I've found says low light/flow. Is this correct? The frag is now pretty high up in the tank, but doesn't get much direct light.

its a very hardy coral. They do fine in lower light and flow, but can handle a range of conditions

I have mine on top of the rocks, about 9 inches down from a 5 bulb T5 fixture, in moderately turbulent flow. Since moving up from the bottom of the tank, it's colored up nicely.

Mine was not particularly picky about conditions and grew pretty fast.
