Didn't realize that I had this in my tank, thought it was something else due to coloration. Looks like it's a War Coral but colors are off. Any ideas on where optimum placement would be in terms of lighting?
as quoted from reeffarmers.com "In Steve's captive reef the coral is positoned to recieve moderate light under a 400 watt 20,000 K Radium Metal Halide."
Here in the Bay area there is a Favia floating around that looks a lot like the war coral but does not achieve the turqoise marbling of the war coral. www.reefready.net has some and so does aquatic bliss.
