Washing Soda and Alkalinity

I just purchased a Salifert Alkalinity Test Kit. I plan on testing a few times a week and adding small amounts of Baking Soda if needed. In short, I want to know how the baking soda will affect my Ca.

It wont......as long as your calcium and alk is balanced.
