watch out for this guy on CL

so ive heard from other people about this guy. when you are selling anything on CL he responds and tells you basically that you are crazy for you are selling your item for. his response will show up as RJ (his name or initials) anyways im selling my 150 gal tall @ $2 a gal for $300. this is the repose i get from him...
" Used tanks sell for less than $1 per gallon...all day everyday.....I'll give you $75"

from what i heard he does this lowball thing to everyone and then sends a barrage of emails till person sells at lowball price then he re lists items at the orignal asking price and makes the $. well its not against the law to do it,but i think its crap! he just bought a whole system from a recently disabled woman that couldnt stay in the hobby but she wanted her corals and fish to go to a good home. from what i heard the woman was in tears watching this guy load up all her stuff. he low balled her and then pieced everything out and sold it all at a profile. to me? this guy is a scumbag. anyways if you choose to deal with him thats your choice,but this is the kind of person i loathe. freaking bottom feeder

There are those that can somehow turn a golf cart into a Ferrari. I'm not sure if they are bottom feeders or opportunists, or pretty much both. They are catching people who for whatever reason need out fast or dont know the items worth. Thing is often they are reselling at a fare market value, as they are not the ones who are asking purchase prices trying to recover their full investment. Me, I don't work that way. I tried the buy low sell high thing with another hobby and it never worked out probably because the lifestyle of pawn is not one for me.

im not in your area, but you guys should start bombing all this guys listings with LOW ball offers, then do the same tactic to him, he has a pump listed for 100 bucks? offer him 15, then when he declines, tell him you can get a maxi jet ALL DAY LONG for 20! hes nuts!!!
