Hello everyone,

i believe my watchman goby has a bacterial infection. This is my first experiance in dealing with a poorly fish. Can someone confirm if this is or is not a bacterial infection, and if so what is the best method to treat him.

many thanks

It does look like the beginning of an infection.

QT and dosing antibiotics (e.g. NFG, Kanaplex, Furan-2) would be best.

He would also probably benefit from either a 90 min Ruby Reef Rally or 30 min Methylene Blue bath.

Only DT option I can think of is food soaking Kanaplex or vitamins. Use Seachem Focus to bind the medication (Kanaplex), thus making it reef safe.
