Water change pump for long distance

It looks like the mag 24 is going to be my best bet. A little more money than I would like to spend especially because I need 2 of them. I have been using a used mag 9 for over 9 years on my current tank so at least I know there reliable pumps.

I use a Mag9 to pump about 40ft horizontal (very little vertical) from my mix tank to the sump.

Its also a spare for my return pump should it fail.
